If you are trying to get fit but don’t have the cash for a gym membership, try the Yoga Studio app. It’s $2.99 in the Apple Store, but for less than a cup of coffee, you can enjoy different yoga classes.
I have a gym membership, but I downloaded the app anyways since sometimes it is easier than getting my butt to the gym. I’m a yoga newbie, but it has been easy to follow along and I can choose from different levels and can choose from 15 minute, 30 minute or 45 minute classes. I can also select classes that focus on flexibility, balance, strength or build my own classes. As far as set up goes, I lean my phone onto a box on coffee table so I can have an easy reference if I need to check the poses – after a few times, you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Note that once you pay the $2.99, you can download as many classes within the app as you want – and if you enable rewards, you can get some cool offers randomly after you complete a class – I’m getting a makeup box for free!
